Amy Carson is a proud two-time graduate of The University of Akron, where she earned her B.A. in Public Relations in 2014 and an M.A. in Arts Administration in 2021. She has a passion for connecting with people and crafting compelling narratives for media relations. Amy has refined her expertise across various school systems in Northeast Ohio, where she has served as a publicist, social media strategist, and arts administrator—always with a focus on building meaningful relationships and amplifying the voices of those she represents.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Amy has worked closely with institutions such as Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, Canton-McKinley High School, Green High School, and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences and her strategic approach to communication led her to higher education in 2022, where she joined The University of Akron's School of Music. 

At Amp Strategy, Amy continues to leverage her skills to forge strong connections, drive engagement, and elevate the public profiles of her clients.

A lifelong resident of Akron, Amy lives in West Akron with her husband, Derek, and their dog, Dundee. She is an avid reader, a tennis enthusiast, and relishes spending sunny days by the lake. Amy also channels her creativity into a small craft business, designed to celebrate the joyful moments of everyday life.
